Presently we are in discussions to extend our collaboration, with the aim to be entrusted with the maintenance of their entire fleet.

Multilift repair

Their latest piece of equipment that needed immediate maintenance was a Mercedes lorry with a Multilift XR24 lift attachment. A fault in the hook loader had rendered the attachment inoperable, hindering Blue Tower Services’ daily operations. The lorry, with the Multilift XR24 lift attachment, is crucial to operations and is primarily used for the distribution and collection of large roll-on/roll-off heavy-duty skips. Blue Tower Services heavily relies on the Mercedes lorry with the Multilift XR24 lift attachment to perform their client-based tasks on a daily basis. This multilift repair ensured the smooth functioning of this equipment and was essential to meet their operational demands.

Our engineering team up for this challenging multilift repair, comprising Jack Miller, Adam Osborne, and Gareth Robbins, undertook the task of rectifying the issues with the Multilift XR24 lift attachment, identifying a number of faults. Hydraulic leaks were prioritised and resolved to prevent any potential fire risks. Faulty sensors were replaced to ensure the system stayed within safe working limits and we also secured the wiring to prevent future problems. Electrical issues were investigated and rectified, including changing relays and restoring motherboard functionality.
