Hickman Engineering has recently completed facility infrastructure welding and fabrication, a custom job for a large UK timber specialist, which involved maintenance to the infrastructure of their specialist timber pressing facility. As a new customer with long-term relationship goals, we are also delighted to have secured additional work from this client.
The infrastructure welding and fabrication completed by our team included the removal of steel fabrication, taking down of steel RSJ sections, and the fabrication and installation of new brackets and a buzz bar for some more work they are having carried out in the future. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that the job was completed to the highest standard possible. The work required an array of tools such as a welding generator, welding van, burning gear, scissor lift, precise levelling instruments, and laser levels.
Facility Infrastructure Welding
The infrastructure welding job was complex and required skilled workers with a high level of expertise in welding and fabrication. It was a custom job that took four days to complete, during which our ISO9606 coded team met all set deadlines to ensure that the work was completed to the satisfaction of our client. Our client’s business operations are dependent on their specialist timber pressing facility infrastructure, and therefore we were mindful of the impact of any downtime on their operations.
